Is 1.5-1.7 Bar normal for stock Boost?

Is 1.5-1.7 Bar normal for stock Boost?
Is the 951 supposed to boost up to 2 on it's gauge in stock form? My car seems to only make it to 1.5 or so. Or do I need a waste gate upgrade and boost controller to get that high?

First off the stock boost gauge takes a lot of heat for being inaccurate. Mine seems to be pretty close, though.
Stock boost for a non-S 951 is .65 bar so 1.65 on your gauge.
Increasing the boost is what all the aftermarket chips and such is all about. Many old threads cover this, read them and then fire away with your questions.
