Default FS: 1987 Porsche 944 turbo w/88k mi. -Vitesse stage 3R

I can't believe I'm posting my 951 for sale, I planned to keep her forever but it's for a good cause. I just picked up a numbers matching 1967 911S and the funds will go towards the restoration. I bought this car about 1 year ago with 82k miles on it. It now has 88k on it with less than 500 miles since installing a Vitesse Racing Stage 3R kit. Vitesse is THE place to go for 951 upgrades, if your not familiar with them check out their site: Stage 3 & 3R Performance Kit I also did all of the "while your in there" maintence.

Each seat has a crack in the lower cushion and there is a small oil leak at the cam housing, no drips though. The car is smogged and registered here in Northern CA.

I have a stack of receipts going back to 1992. Within the last year and a half or so over 12k in maintenance/upgrades has been spent on the car.

The following has been done within the last 500 miles/2 months
- Vitesse Racing stage 3R kit
- Vitesse VRT8x piggy back
- V-Flex upgrade
- Zeitroix ZT-2 w/LCD
- All radiator hoses replaced with LR silicone
- Heater valve
- Coolant overflow tank
- All vacuum lines replaced with LR black silicone lines
- Fuel damper
- OEM 3bar FPR
- Power steering line
- Fuel rail, coolant lines, heat shield, brackets etc. all replated in cadmium
- AOS seals
- Saikou Michi oil catch can
- LR stainless braided turbo oil feed line

Asking $15,900. Feel free to call me at 510-455-1161, ask for Craig. Or email at craigharde@hotmail.com

PRICE REDUCED $14,900

This is from the previous owner 1 year ago, I'll update with more pictures soon:

Major service done at 80k. Beautiful Alpine white with a black leather interior, factory LSD, adjustable Konis, lowered and aligned, Ice cold R12 AC, perfectly maintained, never wrecked or raced, no rust, very nice paint and very clean interior (non smoker) always garaged. Brand new Porsche “Big Reds” brakes up front and brand new 19” ROH wheels and Falken tires. I have receipts and maintenance records.
With the exception of the performance enhancements only Genuine Porsche parts have been used and all maintenance and repairs have been done by Porsche Service Centers.

Mechanically it is in excellent condition. Power sunroof, power mirrors, central locking, power seat, everything except the cruise control. No smoke, does not use oil, no header cracks or exhaust leaks. Idles, shifts and runs like a Porsche should.
Cosmetically there is some small rock chips associated with normal driving on the front bumper cover and some small cracks in the dash pad, the rest of the interior is mint. Glass is perfect, no dents or dings, the paint is showing its age but still show worthy and shiny.

Wow, the only thing left on this wish list might be a set of factory sport seats. Absolutely beautiful car, wish I was in the market. GLWS.

I really hate to see it go and I know I will never be able to afford one this nice again. I wish I could keep them all!

Also, since those pictures were taken I have added a factory Turbo decal to the pass. fender. I'll post more pictures tonight.

Worth the money your asking, and I can't say that about a lot of cars that come up for sale. Hold on your price, there is a buyer for that car at that price point.

Also, have you had the car dyno'd to see what kind of power its putting down? I'd be curious to know.

I haven't had time to dyno it. Maybe I don't want to know in a way.....I've finally set up a 951 the way that I have always wanted only to turn around and sell it. I wish I had the space/money for all of them!

Not sure on the clutch. Pedal pressure is slightly more than the stock 951's I've owned in the past, 99% sure it's not stock but have no records on when/if it was changed either. It holds the power just fine with no slipping.

Honesty, nice form LS1951 -

This car has enough goodies I would suspect it is not a deal maker/breaker.

I can say my VR stage 3 killed the new "cup clutch" after two standing mile shakedown runs at 15psi .The third all out run slipped it bad in 5th. Run hard it should be evident in short time if the clutch is of stock variety.
