FS nice black dash, 968 wheels, manual sunroof, etc
For the larger items, I'd love to sell them locally, but if you want me to ship, you pay for shipping.
This black dash is from an '86 NA. It has only 1 tiny crack at the leftmost defroster vent. The white mark on the top will clean off, I just forgot to before taking pics. The bottom half was tan but I dyed it black. $300.
968 16" wheels, aka 16" cup - $200
I have 1 set of 2 7s and 2 8s. The set of 4 is banged up (curb rash from when mounted, then driveway rash from putting them face-down) from the PO, but great for a track car, or a DIY black respray or something. I also have 1 loose 7" wheel and 3 loose 8" wheels, let me know if you're looking for a single wheel or a pair of 8s.
Manual sunroof setup, includes the 2 manual latches, the 2 trims that the latches latch onto, screws, and a manual sunroof headliner. It is currently brown but I can dye it another color if you wish. $100. If you want just the latches it's $75, just the headliner is $35.
'89 944 NA muffler / catback system, factory new Porsche - $250
Brand new, shiny, taking space. Has the little resonator on the forward end. $440 at Pelican and $1110.35 at Sunset.
airbag steering wheel from 968, Classic Gray - $100

Yeah, Porsche dashes just crack up like a George Carlin audience. I've never seen a cracked dash in an old audi though.... VW, Porsche, MB, BMW, they all crack, but not Audi, it's weird!

Ever since the dash was replaced in my '89, (factory-new, which cost an absoluter farrrgin' FORTUNE, by the way; -specially for a dark-blue!) I've been careful to use window shades in the windshield EVERY time I park.
It's the sort of lesson that you learn once, and learn WELL.
For anyone who wants to be free from dash cracks, I'd suggest BUY this one, if it's crack-free... -There are fewer and fewer of these out there with each passing day.

I picked up the habit of using a windshield shade with my first car (which had plenty of cracks). I dunno, I guess I figured I didn't want MORE cracks, haha. But yes, it is a definite must-have habit. A moment's inconvenience will save that dash and keep the interior cooler!

Man -- wish you would've put your manual rack on sale earlier, say six months ago. That way I wouldn't have had to hack-and-weld my old PS Intermediate Shaft.
Let me know if you ever want to break up the intermediate shaft from the rest of the kit

Well to be honest...
Hell no!
Did you forget to get the intermediate shaft with your MS rack? And how did your extended PS shaft come out? I'm sure it'll work forever, as long as it was welded well and came out straight.

It always pisses me off to no end when I walk by an 80's era toyota with sunbaked paint, fist sized rust holes, a guy sleeping in the backseat, and a perfect, uncracked dash. Happens a couple of times a month and boggles my mind every time. It's as if Hans and Franz purposely engineered our dashboards to suck. I don't know how they did it.
