Post 968 CS club sport steering wheel for $290

hello
Since many of you asked for this wheel I aranged a group purchase
directly from the factory.
The price is
$190 for the wheel
$50 for the horn button with Porsche crest
and $50 for the adapter

a hub spacer for racing is also available for $22

a very nice pic of this wheel can be found at Tom pages <a href="http://www.944s2.com" target="_blank">www.944s2.com</a>
under cosmetic or directly at
<a href="http://www.944s2.com/cosmetic/pages/968wheel_2.htm" target="_blank">http://www.944s2.com/cosmetic/pages/968wheel_2.htm</a>

To avoid any missunderstanding this is the wheel I am talking about and
it fits in the 964, 924, 968 and with a different adapter in the 911
from 74-89

I am not sure but I think it fits the 993 too since I have one from a
993 in my car.

Konstantin
PS shipping is $10 andtakes 30 days or $20 takes 5 days or $50 takes 2
days.

How thick is the hub spacer? Is it the same one AJUSA has - theirs is 1/2" (13mm). I'm looking for a thicker one.

I'm definitely interested as well if we can get burgundy.....may still be interested if it's black only, but my burgundy interior would look great with a wheel of the same color!

Need a new steering wheel badly since the PO took out the Momo that was on the car and put on a $5 Ebay special (worn out leather stock wheel) on the car while he waited to find a burgundy replacement...and he didn't before I bought the car.

Please keep us updated!!! Sounds great!!!

Cheers!

I am definitely in. What is different about the race adaptor? I would take what ever shipping everyone agreed on. However, I would personally choose the $20 option. And this is the original 968 CS Steering wheel in Black? Thanks. I would really love this addition to my interior.

I'm in for one in black. I want it for my 930.
The $20 shipping is fine.

Also, is this the true factory wheel, one-piece leather as opposed to spliced leather which are more commonly available here in the states??
