I had luck re-soldering all the connections in the cruise control brain & actuator under the hood. So for 3 months it's been working perfectly about 95% of the time. Can the switch in the steering column be cleaned up or do you have to buy a new switch? The other 5% of the time it keeps accelerating. I'm wondering if the internal switch is sticky or dirty even though the lever always springs back to it's resting position. Thanks.
