the seller is real and the car is real, someone is going to get the deal of their lives for $ 2500.00

I paid 2500 for my 89, spare set of forged cs wheels, new spare rear axles in boxes, crack free dash spare. It's a little rough, but I've been driving it for a year as my 2004 S4 needs a new head. I sold the second set of wheels effectively making my purchase under 2K

Then i stand corrected.

My money is on Lart. His reflexes are cat-like.
My prediction:
The C-list link was up at 10:20
Lart made contact at 10:22
Deal was struck at 10:26
Money was wired or paypal'd to the seller at 10:32
Downloaded additional pics from seller at 10:37
Uploaded some desirable items' pics for sale at 10:42
Cold drink was procured and partially consumed at 10:44

How far off am I, Luis?

no freaking way! a 6 K car is a 10K additional nightmare! At 2K 10K that will likely need to go into this car is a MUCH better option.

Three Wheelin'
At 2k, I would bet there would need to be more than just 10k to go into the car. I would look for a well sorted one around 8-10k.
Money aside, either he's gonna be spendin' huge amounts of time fixing the car himself, or spend huge amounts of $$ paying to have someone fix it for him, with a 2k 951.
For a parts car, sure! Take it. But to make it drivable and reliable...
Just my own opinion.

I've been down the road of buying a 6-7 k car, I put every penny of 10k into the last one. At 2k, if the engine internals are good, it's a better deal than a 6k car that will require just as much thrown at it. Certainly a 10k is the best option IF you know for CERTAIN the condition of the car.
WE had a member of this board who paid more than that and ended up having to drop in an LS1 plus TONS of others parts to get his "race ready" track car driveable.
In a way, I think we agree.
