Instrument cluster lights up!

Hooray! Just did my first repair on the car!. The lights in the instrument cluster were very dim. I searched the forum and came upon a post by bron951 from 07-21-2002. I basically followed his suggestions except for the following:
1. I removed the old reflective paint with isopropyl rubbing alcohol 70%
2. I glued on the aluminum foil with expoxy cement

I put in new bulbs (a whooping $3.78 Cdn for 4 bulbs at Canadian Tire; this should definitely make a big dent in my budget, LOL). Now the cluster's much brighter.
