Post SFR's new turbos

Since there has been recent threads about new turbos by this company and that company, I thought I would post about some new turbos we are going to be selling soon. They make serious power and lots of it. How about 321 horsepower at the wheels at 10.38 psi of boost! We are still testing some different combinations but we will be releasing these soon. The bar has been raised yet again!

WTF?! Are you sure that's not a big old supercharger? It doesn't see peak boost until over 5k RPM's and it's still building to redline, lol!

What does 'the works' mean? Is that a 2.5 liter? 2.8 liter? 3 liter?

A tad bit on the rich side though. Yah, and what's with that slow boost build-up?

I am betting that a stock wastegate is causing the slow boost build up.

I'd put my money on a Deltagate or Tial on this 2.8 or 3 liter motor...

Afterall, it's got 'the works!'

Yeah, I gotta agree here...that looks kind of funky. I'm not sure why the boost is still increasing at redline. It seems like a pretty linear increase too. Maybe just using a programmable boost controller? Just guessing here. Was that pull done in 4th gear? Is that normal practice on a dyno run?

4th gear is normal practice, on a 951 this gear has a ratio of 1.034:1 which is closest to being 1:1.

gear RPM and ignition RPM are always different unless you have a particuar gear in your car that has a 1:1 ratio. In this case, it looks like the gear ratio is between 1.17 and 1.12, or if I did the math backwards, its around .88, so it looks like the run was done in the neighborhood of 4th gear(either way)
