Three Wheelin'
I've been running one for almost 5 years. The week I got it, my wife comes out on the front porch and sees the car in the driveway w/the hood up & asks "how much did THAT cost?"

Well...since I've been known to exhibit retard qualities...can you instruct me please? I thought it would just replace the stock one.

I run the green spring. I run up to 18 PSI on 93 octane. Yes, it's the same Forge BOV. I don't remember the specs for that spring, but I recall that it was the right spring for my range of boost.

I have the orig box somehere with all the springs ... I bought this like 5 years ago when we did a group buy ( when all of us had lots of money )
I will see if there are instructions in the box on the springs
I am having a good deal of difficulty trying to make mine fit, off the J pipe, that came with my set up ... I may have to cut the longer of the 2 connections coming off the BOV I would hate to do that ( I would have to remove the bead)
Regards
ED

Springs in the box
There are no instructions but there are 3 spings in the box in addition to the one in the BOV The one that came in the BOV is just metal colored
The other springs are Blue, Red, and Yellow ( this stuff is so old the paint is peeling off them )
The receipt is dated June 2005!!
Regards
Ed

From Forge site
Valve Spring color coding
Green - 6-8 PSI
Yellow - 10-12 PSI
Blue - 14-16 PSI
Red - 18-20 PSI
Please Note:
The quoted spring pressure (Psi) relates to the un-assisted clamping force of the spring and should NOT be taken as an equivalent to boost pressure when determining suitability. Once a valve is fitted to a car it is subjected to various pressures that act upon the diaphragm or piston to aid its respective ability to seal or hold boost. An example of this, would be when using a FMCL007P valve on a 1.8T engine as found in the TT 225hp. The boost pressure on a "chipped" car can peak at 26psi. The recommended spring would be the Green or Yellow
For information regarding which spring is suitable for your application please contact us
Same site also says this ,
Valve Spring color coding
Green - 5-15 PSI
Yellow - 15-23 PSI
Blue - 23-30 PSI
Red - 30 + PSI
The above figures are estimates only and should only be considered as a guideline
Please note - fitting a stronger spring into a valve will not increase boost pressure unless existing pressure is being lost. Failure to allow the valve to operate by installing a spring which is to strong may cause damage to the turbocharger.
Please note - the red coded springs should not be installed in the DVR or DV007 diaphragm valves
This kit is not suitable for the FMDVMSP02, FMDVSPLTR, FMRSR, FMRSA,FMDVFSITV/FMDVFSITVR, FMFSITV/FMFSITVR.
Please contact us if you are uncertain whether this kit is suitable for your valve.

That's it. I hardly ever actually hit 18. I run the green. For a street car, you will spend VERY little time at or near 18 psi unless you're just an immature *******.
