Default Delrin sring plate bushing. Having some problems. Help needed!

On one side the hole in the torsion bar is to big, and the inner bushing ha a play of 1-1.5mm, but the outer one fits very tightly. What do to? Assemble it and hope everything will work fine, or order the polybronze ones?

First, return to sender. If they are reputable a replacement should be provided asap. If not go with the polybronze. You will not be sorry. Just MHO

Elephant Racing (makers of the Poly Bronze spring plate bushing) just recently released a rubber spring plate bushing replacement for a really nice price if that will work for your application.

Status so far.

-One inner spring plate bushing has a diameter minim 1mm to small.
-Spent 4.5 hour honing and sanding to get the outer spring plate bushing to fit without binding. It still does not fit.
-The other outer spring plate bushing still needs massive sanding/honing to fit

PolyBronze bushing are ordered an this POS is going of my spring plates tomorrow!! What a waste of time and money

They take some time to get honed and sanded, especially if there is any corrosion. Every vendor I've seen that sells them makes it very clear that you have to work to get them to fit. No idea how the polybronze ones are. Also note that the bushings do not bottom out. You may already be where you need to be and not know it.

You will not have any problems with the poly bronze units as long as you adequately clean off all of the OE rubber from the spring plate, chassis opening and outer bushing cover.

Found the problem. It turns out the one of the bushing had to small inner diameter, so it did not go back to the proper diameter after it was fitted on the spring plate. Problem solved with major sanding of the outer plate On the other side it took 30min to make a perfect fit.

PolyBronze will go inn before next season. Lesson learned
