ATTN Boost Junkies
Hello All,
I just got a new Tial wastegate today. I want to get it installed this weekend, but I can't find a performance shop to weld it for me. So I'm gonna take it to a muffler shop. Just had a few questions. Excuse me if this is common knowledge. It came with an extra ring like thing. I assume it fits into the body of the wastegate. What is it for? The flow is in the opposite direction of the stock wastegate correct? So installation will be similar to deltagate installation? http://www.tonygarcia.org/wastegate.htm I also got a manual boost controller. Where is the best place to attach the pressure line? One of the lines is labeled open or back into the intake. Is there a reason that it needs to go to the intake? Can I just leave it open to the atmosphere? As an alternative, does anyone know of a shop in the Los Angeles/Orange County area that might be able to do the complete install for me this weekend? Thanks for all your help.
