Garrity is right, but if that if you want to make a twin-cam 951, you should look into getting a 944S head as it has the same bore as the 951, 100mm. The S2 has a bore of 104mm. You may need a custom exhaust manifold and intake manifold. You may also need the electronic controls, possibly even a stand-alone computer might be easier. There is likely more to it than I know.

Better yet to just buy an entire 944S or S2 engine and convert it to turbo. Engine won't cost that much more than the head alone and you have all matching parts. Will need to install taller headgasket or shorter con-rods.
Check out Vision Motorsports. They had a 968-turboed 500hp 951 in the Oct. issue of European car. Even kept the VarioCam for a wide flat torque curve as well. Dwain won't tell me what boost he's running, but I'm guessing around 1.5 bar.

The head on my motor started as an S2. The block, however is a 968. The S2 head flows much better. There is a lot of work involved in making the S2 head work on turbo motors, not the least of which is the heat problem. My S2 head was heat treated, but then you're looking at different seats, guides, cam, valves, ceramic coating, and then on mine I opted for 51mm and 42mm valves. Had the intake ports moved up higher in the head. Re-worked the combustion chamber, etc. A lot of work, but on the flow bench significantly better than my old 951 head that had similar work done. I believe W/O all the extra work, that the stock S2 head flows 20+% more than the stock 951 head.

Yeah that 20% figure sounds about right as being the difference between a 951 and S2 head. That's about the same power increase you get in going from the 2-valve 944 to the 4-valve 944S.
