Exclamation For Sale: supercharged 968 or big HP 951

One of these cars must go....

I'm looking to see if there's any interest here before other avenues of potential buyers are sought...

Either the supercharged black 968 will go. A super cream puff car that has 115k on the clock, but looks like it has 15k (perfect inside and out... and I mean perfect). Black, grey interior. Torsion LSD, Weltmeisters, 17" cup wheels, cryo rotors, stainless lines, A/D/S awesome stereo. Recently dynoed at 2.95 lbs boost max (temp setting for tuning),and will be sold and tuned for 6 psi. Custom computer running a/f & timing with MAP setup. Eaton blower with custom intake. A very nice 968.

or..

Red 1988 951, with too many modifications to list (seriously). See url below for list of modifications:

<a href="http://www.tonygarcia.org/951_4_sale.html" target="_blank">http://www.tonygarcia.org/951_4_sale.html</a>

Both cars are first rate.

If I don't get any "action" here,I will put the car(s) in the paper and/or take the cars to a local POC/PCA event to try to sell....

Thanks in advance for the bandwidth.

Which is faster? Heh heh heh....

Uh... 0-40mph... the 968

Only because the 951 rips the 275/17"'s all the way through first & second gear and the name-of-the-game, is to try to keep the 951 going straight down the road so as not to do a 180! :-)

You have to keep the 951. I did'nt even think you had it running yet.

Is the 951 not what you were hoping for with the amount of one of a kind custom work and money you've invested ????

My best to you.

I might be interested in the 968. Do you have a link to some pics and/or details?

Hi Tony,

What are the exact name for the rims you have in this picture: <a href="http://www.tonygarcia.org/968/1/MVC00005.JPG" target="_blank">http://www.tonygarcia.org/968/1/MVC00005.JPG</a>

I'm buying a car with the same kind of wheels, and I've heard a few different names for them, "cup" this and "cup" that. Just curious.

Great looking car!

Tony, Not to get too personal, but why are you selling the 951 so quickly just after you finally got it done? I'm just curious. Heres my idea, swap engines, sell the 951, with a 3.0 supercharged engine, and drop that bad *** turbo engine in the 968. And what are you doing next? If you come up with anything else MORE outragous, I might have to take a trip to Cali and open a can of whoop *** with my new project!!! One thing is for sure, you keep it interesting.

Turby:

Too much money sitting in two cars.... That, and the fact that I need a "nicer" driver that I can put a lot of miles on (for work purposes).

White 944 turboj:

Both cars have far exceeded my expectations.

I simply need the money to buy another car. A car for work purposes....

Here's some pics of the supercharged 968.

As a side note, the intake pipe will be powder coated to match, and a carbon fiber cover is being made to replace the factory cover...

Here's the pics:
