Do we need another GTG at your place?

New engine(2.5), new motor mounts, aluminum radiator, 3" exhaust, Tial 38, SFR Stage 1 header, new clutch, AOR limited slip trans, new trans mount.

I'm fighting the desire to go with a full Vitesse 3R system since I'm building up the new engine.

Install lindsey ultra mounts (Corteco ones did not last more than a few months)
Fix exhaust leaks for the last time (ha ha)
Get a real alignment
Recover the dash
finish painting my 968 mirrors/handles
repair/replace V1 splittler
new steering rack
proper front coilover springs
new suspension bushings in the rear

would also like to get on the track, but who knows if I can afford it

Like to know where you're up to on your car all the same Bruce? It's been awhile.

Few things planned for 2011...

-more DE track events, totally hooked, way too much fun!
-installing some fixed back seats
-harness bar and 5pt harness
-dedicated track wheels, already have four 8" Phonedials w/245 Proxes R888 waiting to go.
-installing a Link Xtreme ECU, which I plan to document from install to dyno and give you my thoughts and comments as I go along, ease of install, tuning and performance.

Hi Patrick! its been a good 5-6 months since I've even thought about working on that thing. but the time has come around again. I'm working on the rear of the tub. underside. I'm trying to close off / Panel the rear so that it doesn't become a large parachute at elevated speeds. Custom wheels wells are harder than I thought. I'm also having to cut and re-fiberglass parts to make it easier to mate up some lines to make it easier to panel parts off. Just seems like when I think I'm on to the next thing, I have to re-invent the thing I did before to make the current one work. Its coming along. BUT, it still looks like the same unfinished piece on the outside though. So nothing to note just yet.

Look forward to seeing how you go with the G4. I'm also going down that path.

Well keep us posted. I'm interested in what you're doing back there. Customising the wheel wells, hmm???

Ha.. not customizing.. Im creating. I don't have any! (wheel wells) I cut everything off the back remember! I'll take pics when its worth doing. It will be a month or two.

It will be partially flat panel though.. except I need the air flow above and below the rear diffuser for it to work. Nothing fancy. Just trying to pay attention to details so that I don't unnecessarily slow myself down above 150mph. I'm trying to make it to where I hit 170-180 before the end of the main straight at Texas World Speedway. I was hitting 160mph with crappy aero and low boost.
