Default what do you guys think about this turbo?

http://www.jayracing.com/index.php?m...oducts_id=1688

a friend of mine sent this linkto me.... from what i read, it seems to be exactly what i would need and would "almost" bolt right up....

i have a huntley stage 2 garrett BB turbo that leaks a crazy amount of oil. i need a replacement that will be about the same... this seems to be a bit better in the response aspect.... mine is 10 years old currently so anything new will be better....

what do you think?

Do you have an oil restrictor in there?

I like the 3071, but did you notice they did not offer a KKK style turbine housing? Seems everywhere I find them, they are set up for internal wastegates, too.

im not sure if it has a restrictor.... the PO had the upgrade done.... if the turbo has been leaking oil for 8+ years would the bearings be shot by now? the shaft as slight shaft play, which i read that BB turbos should have "NO" shaft play..... this is the reason im looking for a new one.....

the problem with that is my car is my daily and i cant send anything off to have rebuilt.... a new turbo would be better becasue i can just swap out the turbos over a weekend and have my car back on the road for work on monday. i am a fairly good mechanic and also fab my own stuff every chance i get. so fabbing up some stuff to get the turbo to work is not an issue but the less i have to fab the smoother the swap will go.

so anymore input on the turbo i am looking at???
