Default KLR plastic vac line...

..anyone have a quick tip on inserting the barbed banjo into the factory line, it's a fairly hard plastic. Is it just a matter of pushing it on... or, is there a preferred method?
Thanks

usually with any type of plastic line, I boil some water and stick the end in it for a couple second and slip the fitting in... or a hair dryer will sometimes do the trick, but never use a heat gun s
