Voith, The photos you show are both 951 bellhousings but they are 86 and 87+ versions. The 951 bellhousing is clearly different than the NA in relation to starter position mount and your starter will be destroyed if you use the NA version. The 944 part # BH you show is for an 86 951 ( I have 3 of them here), all 951 BH's after 86 or 87 had a 951 part number like the other one you show. You have received good advice here, do not use an NA bellhousing, those ended in a different 'R' #.

No, I wanted to use na bellhousing since it looks better and doesnt desintegrate
I guess Ill have to use 951, but not before I find the difference

Nice information though. It seems some NA cars had 951 bellhousings. Prossibly 951 bellhousing comes on cars equiped with spring clutch?

I am still wondering about the problems you are seeing with the 951 bellhousings – I have never had a problem with one and that is with 600hp track set ups.
BTW (and don’t take this personally) I did notice that you can’t spell elargentino with out ‘LART”….
