I tried doing the same black over dark gray with my old navy over linen interior but I used the cheap dye and it looked horrible. When I took out the cage, seats, etc. I just got a decent all black interior.

I have the black and kashmere dash (uncracked) in the basement, but have not tackled dash replacement just yet ...
