Based on the results in this thread, the units may be interchangeable - which if swapping over the 951 engine harness with the KLR signal from pin 5 of the DME should produce the necessary signal to drive the boost gauge.

Incorporating the boost gauge mod recently posted by Tom would, in theroy, make a useful boost gauge for the 968 turbo mod.

If you need help driving the 951 cluster's boost gauge, just let me know. I've done up a few for the stand-alone guys. You just need a map sensor signal of some kind and we can then map it to the factory gauge.
