Lots of changes, forgot to keep the thread updated..........

Test fitted new 18" wheels. I need to change the studs for longer ones or the nuts dont even screw on.

Deleted the Torsion bars, and installed 600lb rear springs. Used Weltmeister new bushes, all I can say is KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

Nice fresh bushings

And solid mounts

I Suppose GAZ have dealers in US, if not they can surely send them to you. Talk with them, they are a small company that adapts to the customers needs.

Update after a few months

A TurboS came across my life, so my car got loads of goodies......AOR gearbox, wider axles, M030 brakes & ARBS......

Looks like a bloody WWII machine!

*Rear axle got full weltmeister bushings and the unnecessary support chopped off.

Gearbox solid support.

Rear Sebro rotors

*Front axle, rack got rebuilt with Rennbay´s seals

Installed 19mm balljoints

Uniballs on front wishbones

Brake cooling ducts and Sebro rotors

And currently at the paint shop, where they discover a previous lame repair. So the rear panel will have to be changed, not a big deal just more time spent
