oil check valve in head

my old turbo head has the new style check valve but my NA head that i´m going to use instead has the old type, does it matter?

Are you talking about the OPR? Or the check valve built into the head to help reduce oil drain back?

not the opr, i believed it was clear that i talked about the "check valve" in the head because i wrote "oil check valve in head "
