Default Oil separator reseal..

Wondering if anyone has successfully removed the top cap of the canister and resealed. I've read several posts with mixed results, but apparently there is an O-ring under the cap that can be replaced if you can get the cap off successfuly.
There has always been a light coat of oil on the canister that seems to be coming from just under the cap and figured that while I have the turbo out for repair I might as well remove the AOS and reseal it.

Appreciate any advice or sugestions.

Yes you can get the cap off but you need 4 hands to do it and patience. There is a O-ring under that cap that can be replaced if you find the right size.
