Definitely interested...color is not a concern but I would like to see clamps with the order.

Thanks,

Rick

While I can appreciate you protecting your manufacturing resources, I really don't care who's making them - only where they're being made. I'd be ok with probably just about anywhere BUT China.

I do not recall any origin of manufacture label on the intercooler hose kit, come to think about it.

Now why would anyone care about where a product is manufactured as long as the quality of the product is good and the manufacturer is decent???
Are your statement based on reasons of political matter, work conditions or just a prejudice of bad quality?

Thought all products sold within the US had to have a place of origin marked SOMEWHERE on it. Whether it be the box the item came in, or the item itself.

I first rose a question of manufacturing country, because i negotiated about 1 ½ ago with several chinese manufacturers of making 951 silicon hose kits for me and my friends. I even sent used oem samples to one manufacturer. We were interested of a kit which will replace every single oem hose (including J-boot) under hood. A complete kit cost were between $50-$100 depending of the manufacturer and how hoses were made and what color etc. and ofcourse the amount of kits.100+ kits and you get them about 30-40$ / kit. I got even a silicon J-boot sample back. It was really good, sold it abot ½ year ago. We skipped this idea mainly because all our engines are modified and hardly any oem style hose can be used any longer. Also so many differencies between model years 1985-1991 951 was available here in Europe. Nowadays china silicon can be bought locally quite cheaply and these hoses can be adapted to modified engines easily.

It's still good Mike & Dave are organizing this; i am sure there is demand for such a kit

We have set up the Group Buy on http://www.turbo944.com/.
Please go there and read the information and we can start the process for you. Thanks for all the
interest in these new hoses! We should be shipping around the end of December. We will let you know
more when we know more. Tooling is already under way. We are looking to get a handle on models
and colors so nobody gets left out on their group buy order. So we would ask that if you wanted a set, or two, please move ahead and complete the next step as we plan to place our PO with the manufacturer for parts on Friday in part using this information from the group buy.

Dry turbo hose kits and 944 NA hoses to come.

I'm interested once you have a 944 NA kit out. I assume that the blue hoses would match (or at least look compatible with) your blue vacuum line kit, right?

The sample hoses we have are blue, and the look very close. Silicone varies from lot to lot.
Parts from the same manufacturer can be a little off from one another.

Samples were not 951 hoses. If they had 951 samples, we would already be selling them and not
buying the tooling to boot.
