MAP - Manifold Air Pressure. With the ITB you will need a stand alone ECU.

I'll buy one Mike. That will work for the 89 8v head I'm sending to you in the near future to work over and install a solid cam. I'm sure we are all interested. Also could you have your mobile web page worked on. Can't access many pages in my I phone like I had in the past before this new web page design. Thanks

Guess we run itbs by just throttle pos sensor and intake air temp sensor.
Of course there is lambda and crank and cam pos sensors aswell..

Last weekend it was fun to notice how big difference cold and warm air make to how engine pulls..

Yes. But.... could you make them with different intake runners past the throttle bodies for say 16v heads? Maybe even for a 928 S3 head bolt pattern/angle and bore. You see where I'm going with this right? And what the cost would be? Thousands of corse...And... payment installment options before getting the items maybe???

What are you thinking about? I would be interested in one if it would help performance. I would also like to know how it would be installed on a MAP type ECU.

Should the 8v version work out, we will get on the 16v version. We do offer now PayPal payment plan.

It's going to be similar in design to our original you seen near the top of this thread. All parts are new or different though. We 3D drew and printed some of the flanges and mocked one up to determine what the plenum constraints would be.

We ran the last one on a MAF, chip and Mafterburner. That's what we will start this one up on and see how it runs. We also stock, although not on the site yet, the Augtronic ECU. We will switch the car over to that after the MAF test. It's MAP based. Or move the ITB to the '89 TS which already has the Augtronic on it. We will also see how it likes an M-Tune.

Yes. They make a very nice part. Their linkages work very smooth and timing adjustment is easy.

Nice! I would have suggested those also. Best throttle body to use for ITBs imo.
I'd personally make the runner length from the head to the throttle bodies shorter, and have different sized runners from the throttle to intake for the ability to tune/fine tune runner length. Although that would probably make off boost response and tuning more difficult, you'd most likely need a standalone and able to use throttle position & MAP to control ignition & Fuel.
Your current setup is nice though, assuming $2500 or near. Going buy the current intake price and rough cost of the ITBs.

any chance you might consider selling individual components rather than full kits? The runner stubs for example would be hugely helpful to anyone wanting a custom intake manifold that can't use the standard LR manifold for whatever reason.

this is something I've asked all the 944 aftermarket companies about for years, even talking to folks like Hayward, everybody wants only to sell a full kit.
