Really can't see the point on anything but a Cup car. And even then only for originality.

Iirc there are other advantages to Mg, doesn’t it have a much lower thermal conductivity compared to aluminum. Also, are you sure it’s the same casting inside or did they do some trickery to improve the flow.

Porsche used MAG in the intakes and oilsump on the Cup cars not only for weight savings but also for better heat dissipation.

Or get most of the benefit by spending $55 on a thermal intake gasket.

Haven’t heard back from JackGtekAuto but if anyone else has a Mg intake I’m definitely interested. I have cup mirrors, Cup Mg wheels and the cup AC delete hvac panel. I’ve always been a fan of the Cup Motorsport parts so always open to adding more.
