11ish labor, and parts. I brought some of my own parts, that I got smokin deals on tho. Thats for the engine, removal, and install. Id say with more resources it could definitely be done under 10k. Really depends on what your parts collection already looks like, what you have access to, etc. If the rumors of a garrity 3.4 crank are true my next goal will be a 3.7 968 ts replica. Well not 100% replica, minus bolt on goodies, management, etc. With that much displacement, Ill just keep my k26 from my 87' 951. Wont need much boost to be where I want. Longer gears for the 6 speed, and a 2.7 head, and ill have all the parts I need. Only good thing so far about my car getting hit. Mmmm I like lemonade.
edit: will need pistons, rods, and the rumored crank actually.

What's with the crank rumours? Why would Garrity invest in something like this?

Rumour from where? Just seems a little unlikely?

George D said it. Few weeks ago. From what I understand, hes pretty close with garrity. Like I said if its true, I get the feeling George wouldnt BS. May never come to market tho. If it does im doing a 3.7, FTW. If the stroker never makes is to market, Ill probably do a 3.3 or 3.4.

With all the other parts I have, and do the rip, and install myself next time, Im thinking I could do it for a pretty reasonable price. I also have alot of parts left to sell off, to offset the costs. It helped alot with this project too. If my 87' didnt get hit, and give me a parts car, its quite possible I couldnt make it happen from scratch. Would be very spendy.

They have grown on me, but im drooling over 3 piece fuchs lately. They are actually really nice wheels. Very sturdy, and solid. Seems like they would be pretty aerodynamic too. They dont show off my cross drilleds tho.

You can squeeze a little more stroke out of an existing crankshaft design by offset grinding. It definitely has some drawbacks though so I doubt this is what he's doing. There's a practical limit to how much stroke can be added to one of these engines before the rod bolt will eat up the block. I thought we had already reached that.
