Default Any V-flex Feedback from users??

I just sent an e/mail to Vitesse for pricing etc..

Wondering who has installed it and using it in the real world?
Any feedback as to ease of use installation?

I've got it, no idea how it works or if it is working. Haven't seen the documentation on it yet. Sorry, not much help.

I have it, haven't had a chance to play with it yet ince the car isn't driving. The possibilities are great though.

The only thing the user will see is Overboost & Rev-Limit. Everything else is in the background.

If you want to see if it works, disconnect the MAP sensor, get on it a bit and see how your power drops as we detect the fault and will retard timing to the max.

Sean (azmi951) is sitting next to me and tells me that he was wonderfully impressed with the increase in performance. Not only does the turbo spool significantly faster, but it is appreciably safer on the engine as a whole.

Speaking personally, I will definitely be buying the upgrade in the future. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Oh and John, Sean wants me to tell you that he has received your email and replied to it.

Without the documents, how did you connect the MAP sensor? The docuemnts were emailed to you on 9/30/08 and on 10/03/08..

I've got it. I've only driven about 50 miles on it so far. Right off the bat the car is smooth. I'll know a hellva lot more in a couple of weeks when I have it back

I'll be posting a entire thread on it. Expect dyno sheets to come, videos, detailed account of how the car acts at various boost levels, and how it works with e-85. I'll be as transparent as I can be. I expect to be completely satisifed as I put her through the paces.

It also logs boost, which is surprisingly helpful. Short of a well-tuned stand-alone system, nothing else comes close.

I love mine. Faster spool and added safety. Also a bit sharper off boost.

I think the upgrade is ~120, but do not quote me on that. ask john. I can't remember what the cost was.

Also I recommend getting the boost solenoid he sells to add electronic boost control to the control of the system.

The V-FLEX is a software upgrade + MAP sensor. It requires the Vitesse MAF kit + VitesseR piggyback. The price will vary if it's a upgrade to a existing kit, or a new kit.

All of our complete kits come with the V-FLEX free of charge, just purchase the MAP sensor for $125.
