rearend squat ?
I just ordered koni sport shocks for the rear. Will this reduce rearend squat due to acceleration. What adjustment would u recommend for a stock daily driver and will the adjustment also have squat affect. BTW the front struts are koni adjustable, adjusted in the middle and have about 30 k on them. TIA

With stock T-bars and Koni's the car squat was worse because the damping in the shock slowed the rebound of the suspension.
Now with big T bars the squat was reduced significantly.

I pulled the T-bars and went with bilstein escort cups, with 550# rears. No more big squat. That's an effective rate of about 350# springs.

Rip It,
If you are upgrading from the stock blacks (Boge I think), then yes you will see a significant difference as did I. However, it was much more pronounced when stiffening the front up also (I had to wait weeks for me front stuff, so I rode with just the rears upgraded...hence the comparison).

I noticed less squat in rear with my new konis as the damping was still stiffer than the off brand shocks the PO had installed. I have mine set to the middle and the ride is still good. It is kind of a pain to adjust them once they are on. Best to remove them to adjust IMO.
