How to mount an aftermarket Steering wheel on an 87 Turbo W/Airbag and Cruise
I am in the process of trying to mount an Aftermarket Steering Wheel on my 87 951 with Airbag and Cruise. I have a MOMO adapter which bolts up fine, but the turn signals won't cancel and ther's no way to connect the horn. I read that there is a 928 part that handles the horn, but it seems to fit 89 951s and S2s.
The clock spring has the cancel piece in it as well as the horn contact. I would like to be able to reinstall the Airbag, when I eventually sell the car. Does anyone know if an 86 Switch setup with cruise is electically compatible? How about a 911 or 928, non-Airbag W/Cruise?

%Thanks for the help. Since the MOMO hub works with the 86 Switch assembly (It looks just like the back of an 86 wheel). (I guess the 968 wheel is different). Shouldn't I just be able to install the 86 assembly and extend the horn wire and install a female conector on it?

Yes I did remove it. I think I have an 86 switch assembly W/cruise around here some where. I found 2 without cruise, which I guess I could use for a test.
