UEGO 1000 from Lindsey - Which 02 Sensor?
I just bought a race car with a Lindsey stage 3 MAF, Mafterburner and UEGO 1000 wideband. It show a constant 14.6 to 14.7 AFR although the car is running very rich. In the logging from the Mafterburner, it shows a constant 13.2. I attached an LM-1 with a tailpipe sensor and it reads the AFR correctly and varied it when I moved the Mafterburner slides.
I pulled the 02 sensor and its a Bosch 0258 006 066 LS-4 sensor. The doumentation on the UEGO 1000 shows a different sensor, but doesn't list a number. The cheapest I can find this is $100, so I wanted to check if it is the correct one. I may just buy another LC-1 for $190 to replace the UEGO 1000. According to the documentation, the latest version of the Mafterburner software supports Innovate.
Any help in diagnosing the problem will be appreciated.

John, I cannot speack for the particular unit you have. However the UEGO we sold changed. It was offered with different O2 sensors.
The Original UEGO used the Bosch Motorsport sensor (expensive). The later UEGO came with the generic wideband sensor but used a unique connector. As I understands it, using the less expensive sensor on the older units will not function properly.
Depending on which UEGO you have (build date or firmware version) will dictate which O2 sensor you need and how much it'll cost.

I am not sure on the 1000 connector but if its the same of the 2000 i just get the bosch sensor #17014.
which is the sensor that is used in a 1.8t vw the v6 cayenne motor also. If you go to your auto part store with the above # you will be ok just makes sure the connector is the same.

UEGO 1000 SENSOR - Prior to the UEGO 2000 was the UEGO 1000. The Sensor itself if differernt. If you need a replacement sensor for the old UEGO 1000, you can obtain one fron NAPA auto parts with the part number BSH-16065. You will have to cut and splice the connector on to it. This sensor will NOT work on the UEGO 2000. The output signal is different and the A/F displayed will be incorrect.

Here's a picture of the plug and sensor.
John, I ran your EX 3.0 Liter car at Roebling after remapping the MOTEC. It ran very well at about 12.2 AFR down the straight. It was raining, so no lap times.
Can anyone tell me the Aux out settings to use on a LM-1 or LC-1 to connect it to the Mafterburner?

Mike, can you point me to some documentation on connecting Innovate to the Mafterburner? I really just need to know the aux out settings. I will get the correct 02 Sensor, but would like to do some testing with the LM-1 I currently have.

For whoever is reading, the LSU4.2 Bosch sensor will also work with the uego 1000.
refer to http://www.supraforums.com/forum/arc.../t-601203.html
you will have to cut/solder/splice the connector.

LSU4.2 will NOT work, the plug is completely differant, 16065 is the only one you can use with UEGO1000 I have it and it plugs right in.The LSU is a cheap wideband and this is what the newer Wideband guys like Innovative, AEM and others offer.16065 if for Cadillac Catera and Saturn Wagon it has 5 wires side by side.
