West, are you allowed to run E85?

Also, with all these higher hp/tq motors, what brake setups are you all using? Especially for the track?

I've got big Reds up front, with the stock 968 rear calipers...I put in a different portioning valve, though, to put a bit more to the rear.

Big blacks on the front, stock rear, 928 Prop valve, factory ABS.

Not allowed to run E85 yet in PCA Club Races, but seems likely that will be approved later. We do lots of DE's and can run anything there, but with Motronic, I have no flexibility. Contemplating MegaSquirt as a winter project.

Right now, stock with x-drilled rotors all around, and ss brake lines. 100% street car tho. Maybe 99%. Once its finished, big reds may be first on the to do list.

Yes, I've fought the trend to go to x drilled rotors, but I'm going to try them now. I'm 99.999% sure that the 995tt Mark II rotors fit. This is to further rid my car of pedal spongyness by dissipating the build up of gasses between pad and rotor. Hope it works.

What psi were those numbers made and what kind of dyno. I'll post my results as soon as I can get me car back on the dyno.

Can I post if my build isn't done yet? Just your run of the mill 3.0 8v engine with a 2.7 head and basic vendor add-ons. I'm doing it all myself in the mom's garage, boy does that make her happy!

Here is my best Dyno run to date. The blue lines are 393/480 at 17psi and the red lines are 340/420 at 15psi. I can't run any higher psi than that at the moment because I'm still on the stock exhaust and the back pressure would get a little worrying

Your car is going to love you when you finally ditch that stock exhaust Paul That's some chunky love torque you've got there though. You could carve it with a knife and eat it with a fork!

BTW if anyone's got a spare $25kobo, there's a very nice long block for sale in the Rennlist Classifieds. I've got no affiliation of course. I've already got mine

THAT's a nice long block setup (the one for sale).
Only thing nagging me are the rusty girdle studs...

Good thing about it is that perhaps it will show people what a proper race engine costs to build...
