I used Engine Supply in Santa Ana for my machine shop. Mike there knows what he's doing. Works on lots of exotics from Newport Beach area and also does the machine work for Greg Brown.

Clutch is a little stiffer than stock. I haven't put the wood to it as yet. I'm waiting for a few parts and finalizing the M-tune install. I plan to go to the dyno in the not too distant future.

Tom, you going to the Rennsport Reunion at Laguna this weekend?

Hmmm, saturday might be tough, but maybe Sunday. Do we have a 944 contingent meeting up there?

It will be a madhouse. I don't drive the P car there because you'll be parking in a dirt lot. The trick is to ride the free MST bus into the track, drops you right in the middle. No fuss of fighting traffic. If you're not familiar with Laguna Seca and getting into and out of the track it can be a nightmare. Once took me 4 hours from the parking lot to the road a distance of about 2 miles. That was a bike race in the 80s they have a better handle on traffic management now but... When I was at the Historics last year I saw a guy having to park his Gallardo in the dirt lot!

Great work there! Is that a Pauer-Tuning Vi-Pec system? What cam are you running? Did you flow the intake and measure gains by opening it up? What clutch are you using and does it hold well without chatter?

Thanks M'Guinn.
Vic at Pauer Tuning supplied the cam trigger & coil mounts, The rest was all done in house SSI is a Vi-Pec dealer. Wiring harness is all tefzel wire & Raychem DR-25 heat shrink. The cam is a 944 N/A , The intake & head ported & flowed by CMW Motorsports. The clutch is a Spec stage 2+ no problems it holds fine, it will chatter if you don't match the RPM on the down shift.

Nice to see someone else join the party. Will be interesting to see how it goes on E85. Are you going to run it with the Ethanol sensor?
