I will post a pic of the engine bay when I get the chance...

edit: I guess tuning, and break in, could be considered necessary to completion.
Tone what procedure are they using to break in the motor?

They put the first 100 miles on it. At 500, Ill change the oil, check the coolant for any debri, etc. Also keeping boost limited to 8 psi until 500 miles.

The 3.0 is back home! Picked it up from the shop today. All I can say is wow! Its fast! The shop has insisted as part of my warranty, that I keep boost to .8 bar. Cant wait to see what a difference a few more pounds makes. Picked it up in the early evening, just got back from driving couple hours ago.
Has a little bit of lifter noise, mech says that it has been getting quieter, and if it doesnt go away by 1000 miles, theyll be pulling it, and replacing it. I think the TT bearings are starting to go too. Oil will be changed, and everything inspected at 1000 miles, Ill also be able to turn up the boost at 1000. Pics tomorrow hopefully. Should be sunny, and clear.

Anybody in this group running a "rising rate fuel flow regulator", if so who is the manufacture and are you happy the the results it produced.

Why do you want a rising rate FPR?
IMHO a rising rate FPR is a biiiig no-no, that stuff should be handled through an engine management system. A rising rate FPR is for low-tech tuning

I'm using a Weldon FPR. My car hasn't been on the road very long, but I know of a few race cars that have been using them for a while, without issue.

Mainly used with carb/turbo setups. Used such a regulator when i turboed a 350 cid Chevy engine back in 1978, so it's also very old-tech.
