I've missed it completely, to old I guess. First time in my life it has felt good to be to old to appreciate something.

Perhaps you should be thankful that you are too straight to "appreciate" this!

Am I the only one wondering if this boglyft thing actually helped this thread or did it just get hideously worse?

Personally, I think the vendor bashing portion was doing MUCH less damage...to me anyway!

Back to our regular programming.

CEP has done it again. Today I saw the new Cam Housing for the 2V Head. Finally we can fit a Cam and do the Lash etc without having to go down through those small holes. Also a bigger Cam can now be used without having to lose the base circle. This is really going to open up the HP race. I also saw the new Block. No more Liner issue with this one. The Oiling is a lot better. I was told that the cost will be real good making repairs a thing of the past. This block is a lot stiffer now that the deck Plate is integral. No more Girdle either. The Main caps are 6 bolt, 4 from the bottom and 2 from the side. This new block will use the new Oil pump, and Sump. The Dry Sump engines will use a new pan with the Oil Pump mounted directly to the Pan. No more hoses I'm told.

I told you new stuff was coming. I know they want to keep this all fairly secret so I'm told you need to email Dave directly. No pictures are going to be put out there to stop the copying. I know of 4 race customers who are going to use these parts straight off.

I know some here have seen these new parts as well. I'd love to hear your opinions.
Dave has out done himself this time.

Well kinda of. The Main Caps are in the Oil pans. Or 3 are. The studs go all the way thro the Pan.

I did forget to also add the new 2 butterfly Throttle body. Great idea. With both open the area is way bigger than 70.00mm. The first one is smaller to help with response. They will only fit on the upgraded manifold. I understand that the SFR manifold can be adapter for this new TB.

Wait for the other stuff. It gets better.

M42racer - Sounds great. Massive innovations. I can only imagine what kind of price tag dangles from them.

At the risk of getting some folks all cranky...
You mean a pan with an integral girde like the Porsche Mototrsports pan from the 80's?
That was a nice part....kind of hard to get these days!
