I have read all threw this post and relized there is one area that you haven't reviewed(i had a similiar problem mine was injectors i went to #72lb siemens cured it) but you could be having a problem with the Vitesse MAF + chips especially in the chips u could have got ones that arent workin proply it happens. See if everything in that area checks out ...oooooh and did you have the car runnin before with this chips and MAF?

you mentioned you're using 55lb siemens injectors, are you using the stock 2.5bar FPR?

i had a similar (though not as noticable) issue when i swapped to 55lb siemens injectors, and i was able to resolve it by swapping to a 3bar FPR to get higher fuel pressure, and leaning out the map to compensate.

Similar problem here also..

Thought it was a ISV related problem ( maybe it is ?? ) and has changed two ISVS so far. Even new valves are leaking a little !!? current one is leaking around the electrical connector.

Tried richen the car a little with my AFPR but then it would die on me a couple of times when letting of revs.
Btw ., I have the VDO fuel pressure gauge , not sure how accurate this is but it reads 43-44psi @ idle without vaccum connected.
When moving the TPS to the position where you just about to go past the "click" the engine would idle pretty bad and/or die..
