Wilhoit has one for sale, www.willhoitenterprises.com. I have never dealt with him personally, but I hear his cars are the real deal. They are NOT cheap though.

I know of a red 12K mile '86 for $20K located in Pa...only issues are it's due for a timing belt and the tires are original

I can't remember the name of the dealer, sorry.
I thought about the silver rose 951 that you mentioned. The car was in Raleigh, NC as part of Bob Ingram's collection. It ended up on e-bay and was bought by a company in TX.

Originally the car came out of NY and is likely w/in his mileage requirements.

I'm not on my home computer and will search for the link later.

As I remember, it was $50,000.00+

I gotta ask, why?

To me a 951 is a great drivers car, but really nothing special and not a car worth collecting.

For what you will pay you can many different much newer and nicer cars. For instance I just got a 2001 BMW M3 with 22,500 miles on it, it was pretty much in perfect condition. I paid around what the black car was being posted listed for. Stock to stock the BMW will drive circles around a 951.

I you want a clean car to drive, why don't you put a little money into one with more like 75-100k miles on it. For 20k$ you could put together a car that is cleaner than one with 20k miles on it.

Wow all of you guys are really cool...thanks for all of the help so far. I want to be able use it on weekends only and go on long drives and make pit stops and totally admire the car...then smile and drive off again. hah! I just love the look...its timeless and classic! Just in love with it...sorry I have a sickness. I was thinking of putting 2 small turbos in the car so there would be continuous tur bo...would awesome!

I'm still looking and no luck still.

This is for all you guys who replied

Thanks
Jim

Do you have a budget you are trying to stick to, or do you just want one with super low miles regardless of cost. The black one posted in this thread seemed a better deal than any of the other ones in similar condition people have posted in the past.

Ya, that one. I don't have a great idea of what they should go for at those miles. I am compairing it to the "wow look at this one" threads people post from time to time. All those ones seemed to be 30k$+.

I still think if you are looking for a car to drive there is no reason to have that low of miles.
