Default Need center caps

Wheels are BBS magnesium centers from a Cup car. I am going to be putting them on my street car and need to get some center caps. If you look at the picture they have 3 small holes that are threaded which I am assuming hold the center cap on. Anyone have any or know where to get them short of calling BBS?

I can't offer help on the cap part, but how much do those bad boys weigh? What size rim and tire?

I've never really heard any true weight measurements of mag. wheels.

Craig, the holes are there for the faux centerlock center cap you can purchase from FVD Tuning, these fit ONLY BBS Magnesium wheels and they're only $78!

These are my new wheels for the GTR project using 996 GT3R centerlocks & suspension...the dummys above look just like the real thing below except I can rotate my tires quicker than you can (sorry I have to get back at you for having that beautiful GT)

Hmm ... using faux centerlock wheel caps on such nice and valuable wheels would be just "cheap".
I'd rather use no caps at all than using such pathetic stuff, especially when one can clearly see the 5 bolt pattern of the wheels.
I wonder what were they thinking at BBS and FVD when they came up with that.

To my understanding BBS was orginally the one who made the faux centerlocks for their 5 lug wheels. I have seen a couple 6 figure modded 911's in Excellence wearing them on their wheels as well...

Not to mention there is nothing cheap when it comes to magnesium BBS wheels...

Perhaps, but the good Professor did say "form follows function". No function, no form.

Cory
I did not weigh the wheels before I had the tires mounted but I could pick the wheel up with one finger and hold it easily. Guessing I would say 16lb range. Guns may know more if his aren't mounted yet.

Guns
You crack me up man. I will always keep in the back of my mind to "never let Guns sucker me into a pit stop competetion."
Thanks for the info on the caps. Cheap, rice or whatever if there is not much to choose from they look ok to me. It's a street car and I don't want wheels on it without center caps ofsome kind. It'll make the rice crowd drool so I'll move to that side of town. Next a coffee can exhaust tip and rear wing 2 feet above the roof line for no apparent reason.

Wheels are 8 1/2 and 10x18, with 225/40's and 275/35's. These are going on my 89 Turbo street car.

Ahh. Not a huge BBS style fan, but these should look great. Definitely need pics once they're on.
