That's good, maybe he'll chime in. We swapped emails the other day on ring gap.

The last one we did @ .036mm, smoked a little for the first few test drives and never again. It passed smog in Memphis around 800 miles with absolutely outstanding numbers!!! The tech at the testing center couldn't believe it when he got shown the engine and the piggyback computer.

Glad things worked out to your satisfaction. Nothing better than getting what you want.

Do you have a video?

Thanks for the compliments, guys I appreciate it.
I also forgot to mention - 602 RWHP through the MUFFLER, quiet as a mouse- because this is a street-legal car, after all.

Would be nice to have this engine on hand for a "new rules" PCA GT project. They throw penalties at the 951 crowd for being too fast. Take the weight penalty + this engine = still dominate the 911 cry babies.

Great news Tool. Nice to finally get over that hurdle. Now onto 700whp! lol...ish.
Time to look at 3.0L+ and 16v then let's see some fireworks.
Well done and thanks for showing us the light.
