looking to take the car out for a ride and my starter is gone, anyone have a spare ! Palm beach or Broward county...

You got some weird theifs there in Palm Beach or do you think it fell off the last time you had the car out.

$82??

I just called a local Advance Auto Parts store and was told the remanufactured one with limited liftime warranty was $158.98 before the $45 core charge.

Make sure the unit they give you is the smaller one for the 951. They list both the large and small diameter units under the same part number. The larger ones will work but the starter heat shield is jammed up against the housing which transfers heat. Try and get the correct smaller dia. unit.

The 951 is on the left, NA on the right:



See how tight even the small unit is against the heat shield And yes the oil leak has been fixed

Looks like they raised the prices since I bought mine in August of 2005

$105 with 1 yr warranty

IC, i thought that was a recent purchase. I'm looking at a rebuilt from a wreck on ebay. If I dont get that the sources you have are still cheaper than advance
