Default Wheel Size? GT Racing Fenders

Guys I am finishing up building my track car for racing and need to know if anyone knows from experience what the rear and front wheel sizes are for the 944t if outfitted with GT racing's wide fenders and quarter panels

You really have a wide range of choices. On mine I run 10 1/2" on the front with 295's and rears are 11 1/2" with 315's or 335's.

I thought you could fit 10's and 12's? Nice work there jacksonrw! What spec's on the motor etc? How hard was the fitting, you hear horror stories from those kits.

If you, or anyone else is interested, I have two set of BBS Motorsports magnesium center wheels for sale. They are from a 1986 wide body and will bolt right on! They are 17" X 12" rears, 11" fronts - We ran 315's on all four corners.

Both sets of wheels are in very good overall condition for track use. $2,800.00 per set, or $5,000.00 for both sets.

Here is a pic of the wheels as mounted on the car...

Thanks 333
right now the 951 engine is stock (pictured)

Sure there is always a lot of work with mounting these kits properly. But I have no horror stories...i did a lot of research on the various ways to mount and Hank at GT Racing gave me the best tip ever.

so many folks bolt on rivet on and even fiberglass on...i glued on. with 3M body panel glue (about $35 a tube...i used 3) i was able to glue them on and the glue hardened sanded beautifully. I also glued in my sunroof and used a poly-bondo to make it seamless.

I really had fun doing it
