# of pins in the TPS???

I am tryign to diagnose a problem I have with the car not boosting properly and when it does boost i hit fuel cut. Now i just found out my car has Vertex Auto Chips in it. also How many pins are in the TPS connector?? I count 6 pins coming from the sensor, but only 5 pins coming from the connector. Is this normal?

yep, there are 6 holes, but only 5 pins used. 3 of them are for the potentiometer, and the other 2 are for the idle switch.

pull it off and shake it, if it rattles like there are a few marbles in it replace it.
