ST,

Did you drop the motor still attached to the crossmember onto the hoist too? That looks slick.

Yep - best way.
And I have done all of them, including naked playing the banjo.

Lindsey sell the engine mount alternatives that allow you to lower the engine somewhat (?) and the dry sump will get you a bit too. Not sure how much in total, but it would be interesting to find out just how low you can go?

[QUOTE=special tool;4614915]I don't think ANYONE has posted just the results of power on sump alone?QUOTE]

While they didn't do a before and after, The same pan was on a 2.5ltr 16v motor that spun the rollers, last night, to 530rwhp at 25psi using a GT40r.

They kept the boost low and then lowered the rpms to 8000 for todays club race.

uh, no. There was a complete casting plate made so the tolerances stay very tight. Then the gasket surface, bolt holes, o-ring boss plug holes and threads are all CNC cut.

Sorry, The owner is one of those guys who doesn't give out to many secrets. He's always a top competitor in the midwest. I gave out all I could. I will ask if I can get some pictures to post. The car will be racing at Sebring. The only 968 turbo with a full Japanese touring car body in America.
