CEP dry sump

wow 40 hp from splashing oil around it must be 30hp from the no longer ingesting its oil into the combustion chamber .
so did it use much oil before?
was it a pretty normal crank case breather set up befor ?

I think the extra h/p is just a nice bonus. The insurance against spinning bearings etc has to be the main reason to do this conversion.

Went to the dyno yesterday.
I don't believe anyone has ever posted 951 dry-sump only power increases.
At 23 psi my engine made 480.3 hp at the wheels @6,800.
Before the dry sump, it was 441 hp at the wheels @6,800.
The only change was the oil system.
The air mass intake was the same on the datalogger, so its easy to see what's going on here.
I'll do peak number next week when I get some real gas in there.
I have to say that it did feellike a tremendous increase in rev speed, but sometimes that can fool you, but that's the way it was.
Also - no more leaks!!!
