wow 40 hp from splashing oil around it must be 30hp from the no longer ingesting its oil into the combustion chamber .
so did it use much oil before?
was it a pretty normal crank case breather set up befor ?

I think the extra h/p is just a nice bonus. The insurance against spinning bearings etc has to be the main reason to do this conversion.

Agreed but mostly for added RPMs, that is, of course, in my extensive racing experience.

The only change was the oil system.

I'll do peak number next week when I get some real gas in there.

I have to say that it did feellike a tremendous increase in rev speed, but sometimes that can fool you, but that's the way it was.

Also - no more leaks!!!

All real racers know the real reason for the dry sump system is so you can change the filter without making a mess…..
