Found great 944 Turbo Cup website so thought I'd share
Came across this site http://www.asarus.com/ when doing a google image search on the 944 Turbo Cup cars.
There are some great pictures on this site - well worth a look even if you don't speak French
If anybody knows of a company that reproduces the Cup wing mirrors then I'd love to know or also if anybody has an original set for sale please PM me (I know its a long shot) - Thanks.

They look smaller Bill and must save abit of weight having no motors fitted to them. They also look more aerodynamic than our standard 'Flag' type.

Mirrors are a black plastic housing and the base is pot metal (maybe cast alum.). They are lighter than the full power heated flag mirror housings, and also somewhat smaller. The rearview is noticeably less when you first look at them.
Matt, I just completed a full "Club Sport/Cup" conversion for PCA Club Racing. Its an extensive conversion, so not sure how serious you are about "building" one.
If you intend to leave the car as an '86 (not upgrading to the later offset/brakes) it will be easier. '86 Cups were different and less modified compared to the later 87+ Cups.
