Hahaha believe me those two things are coming up quick on my list!!

BTW, I'm actually headed up to St. Augustine tomorrow evening to meet up with a guy from Jacksonville to purchase some parts from. Happen to know of a gentleman by the name of Jesse Garrett?

Nope. Don't know him. Get off of I4/I95 at the race track, in Daytona, and drive up A1A to St. Augustine. It's a nice drive. Also, if you bring the GF, there are a bunch of good restaurants in St. Augustine. My favorite is Gypsy Cab Company. There are also a number beachy seafood joints.

Did you see my post about the KLA drop links? You have them on your 951.

Hey guys. Looks like I'll be moving back in a month or so. I can't wait to start hanging out with the crowd again. Maybe we can talk Todd into moving back too. After the near-fatal bike wreck I had an epiphany. I have officially stopped chasing the almighty dollar at the expense of my health and family time. I'm selling out here, coming home, and probably opening a bicycle shop. Yes, a bicycle shop. Oh yeah. I'll still dabble a little bit in real estate investment

Elliott, Gypsy's is my favorite too. They rock if you don't mind the wait.

You open the shop and I'll come buy from you. Either that or I'll have you refit my old Cannondale.

Andy, I worked at a bicycle shop here for about a year (David's World Cycle) and the most I can say is, be prepared to battle your competition fierce because they sell a LOT of product! It will be great to have you back though!! Still hanging on to the 951 I hope?

Elliott, unfortunately I missed your message by the time I headed up there. I ended up just taking the fast way up, and the faster way back (basically not going under 95mph following an e30 for about an hour) so I knocked out the trip quickly.
As for the drop links, I swapped them onto my n/a car to see what difference I could feel, and I really didn't feel anything different, which surprised me because people were raving about them being so awesome. Ah well.

quick update!

The parts I picked up yesterday was a Lindsey Racing Stage II MAF kit, K&N filter, LR #55 injectors, LR 3bar FPR, LR vacuum hose kit, EVO Motorsports DV, LR ducted headlight cover, 968 spoiler, MOMO steering hub, and some things like hoses for the venturi delete and powdercoated stock IC pipes and stuff.

EVERYTHING was brand new in the box/bag and never used!! Anyone want to take a guess at how much I picked up the lot for?

86's don't have the venturi. I can't imagine that you would see any differences , based on the drop links, unless on a real track with an adjustble rear sway bar. I think you're going to need a chip solution to go with the LR Maf, but I could be mistaken. With the larger injectors, I feel certain that you will.

Really? I thought they had the venturi..? And there are a few things I need to get before installing the MAF. I plan on getting an AEM wideband O2, boost gauge, and a set of chips from Russell Berry. BTW I checked the chips you were unsure about when I tried to install the Autothority MAF/chips, and they are indeed the old version Weltmeister chips. Cool stuff. The orange wheels are going to be greeeeen soon!

I believe the 86 cars are the only cars w/out the venturi, but it's been a while, so I could be wrong. I know my 87 has it and it's VERY obvious. Your 86 doesn't look the same.

My 89 doesn't have a venturi, I'm pretty certain...

It may have been deleted. That's a pretty common mod. I don't know if 89's had them however.

Anyone going to this?
LINK

I think that I may run down for this one. The PCA guys that I haven't talk to in a while from the GCR go every year if I remember correctly.

Edit: Scratch... just looked at the map and this is in the pan handle. I thought it was over by Orlando for some reason. Good bump though... when is the next Orlando meet? I have to make it down there next time.
