Default porsche fire now it is a fire sale

i have had it. I washed my car and turned to pull out of my driveway and boom flames were pouring out of the hood. Well luckily had two fire extinguishers in the basement. After putting out the fire, I looked at what I was left with, not too bad. It looks like the fuel line on the rail burst and caught fire. It melted a littleof the injector harness
one vacum line,
distributer cap is bubbly
power steering resivior is singed and bubbly.
hood has a 5inch burnt mark now, the car needed to be painted anyhow.
I am tired of it and want 5k with wheels or 4k without wheels. I will post pictures tomorrow but come and get it.
The car has a ton of stuff on it
52lb injectors,
lindsey maf,
max chip
maxtronic
to4 hybrid turbo,
new clutch,
solid trans mount,
new balljoints
new koni adjustables,
3" lindsey exhaust,
dual port waste gate
plx wideband,
momo wheel
rh 18" wheels
s2 hatch
almost perfect black interior,
mbc
it was fast @ 18psi
high mile 185k but less than 2% leakdown
the car is the one in my avitar.
$20k or more in reciepts around 175k miles, have whole history on car. make me an offer. I am selling my 928 now and I am buying a noble.

Wow, that's tough. Doesn't sound too hard to fix though.

Why don't you sleep on it ? If nothing else it's worth more running. Take a little time to cool down.

i feel your pain, i had the exact same thing happen to me in my driveway. damage was minimal but the whole incident just turned me off from working with car and it took a long time to fix it. good luck to you.

I think the Noble will more than make up for your loss.

Sorry to hear about your luck and I am glad to hear that you are okay and the damage was minimal.

This seems to be a common problem with 951's, I guess I will be ordering new lines in a couple of weeks.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Are you interested in parting it or just want to sell it as a whole. I would be interested in alot of the upgrades if you part it.
