Dave, what are your plans for the drivetrain? Axles, etc?

Uuuhhh that would be a 9" rear end (Ford) and the "10 bolt" or "12 bolt" styles would be a GM rear end (all solid axle types). I had a TH350 in my past car, shifted pretty strong but not as hard as a Mopar 727 Torqueflight.

I wish we did have more options for rear CV's though. One of my rears on the turbo was clicking a bit so I re-greased with RedLine Moly and swapped it 180. Seems to work for now.

Hey Sid, awesome!! Yeah I have been on very very sporadically with work, moving, and finishing up my degree here soon. I have not even started my Porsche all year. I recently moved to WI for my wife's new job and the car is back in IL in my parents garage for safe keeping. I will drive it here though before the weather gets to bad though.

PM away when you can.

Yeah Yeah Yeah....

TH400 easy build to support over 1000HP, solid shifting, hard to kill if put together correctly...

Had one in a TA once upon a time... sold car, that was another lifetime...

9bolt, 9 inch... my bad... I need WAY more sleep and WAY less stress... I hate proposal time....

Dave as you've told me before. The 944t head is a big restriction. (Or is this not true for the 16v?)
or is a completely new custom head milled an option..

A stock 16v head flows lots and lots of air...a modified one can exceed more than '1 metric crap load' of air flow....
