Slicker than snot on wet concrete....

Had that happen at the entry to the bus stop at Watkins Glen at 155mph or so...
You do not want a leak with the Evans coolant. The good part is that the system sees a lot less pressure so leaks should be a lot less common - in truth you should not go out on the track with a leaky car....

I don't understand; how does one know if they're getting hot spots?

Some updates...

I have had a gasring that had went into the cylinder, strange... probably it has been so since start.

Head is modified to evacuate air in the cooling system.

MLS is glued beween all layers.

Camshaft is exactly measured in now.

Still i had 563 rwp last year, hopefully it will be some more this year...

I did have water in the cylinder and when I crank and the first 3 minutes it smoked white water in the exhaust. All the water i cyl 3 was pushed back in the intake and then it was a bit water in every cylinder until it resorbed.

When I was on power, (more than 400) I did get high cooling pressure.

The cooling system is now modified with one more tank and change hose routings.

Have you jacked the hood up at the windscreen side to increase air flow? Where is the head vented to? So you have your primary expansion tank and then 1 reserve overflow tank or two?
