How many aftermarket 968 Turbo's?
 

How many 968 turbos are out there that are NON FACTORY that people built?

I think there at least two on the list.

All but 1 in the USA?

i doubt it.

$69K seems entirely out of the question. I also have a good friend who has built several 968 Turbo's and here are his comments on this car:

"I don't think the 968 guy will get more then $40K for his car. If even that. I think about $30k is what the going rate is for turbo 968s. I'm almost finished with mine and I'll be asking $28K. Mine is a 3.3L twin cam Vs his 3.OL single cam. I'm also building a black one which will be a 3.0L. Most likely I'll let it go for $20."

That car doesnt exist and the seller is a known car theif and stolen parts seller. He stole Rolex's former car, a ton of Subaru's and an F355 Challange.

What makes you say that?

We established all this in the thread that was deleted. I suspect this one will be gone by morning.

A few people emailed the seller, who responded with his name, and the email addy belonged to his girlfriend who was also arrested in the case.

I knew it was too good to be true.

This guy is from my area, and I have heard of the car. Why would you say it doesnt exist? Anyway, lets not get into all that please...... I dont want this thread to dissapear. Stephen, I would be interested in the one your friend has for 20k when its available, thats very cheap........ So 2 on the boards, where else, and what was done to them?

Excellence has featured at least 3 in the US....2 in one article alone. One black one white.

I believe there is another in Canada - there was a black one listed on 968.net - but I'm not sure where the other is or if it is still here.

Because I happen to know - first hand - what MPD47 posted is correct.

Ooooook.... Back on topic, There was a white one in exellence? And I know of 2 factory 968 turbos in canada, one silver, one black...... There has just been so much talk about them lately, I like to be unique, and if I bought one, I want to know my chances of seeing another. I see there is a Powerhaus one on autotrader, but we cant post links to them now right?

Has anyone reported that to Craigslist or the police?
