We are quite a few 951-owners in Europe and I am wondering if there is interest to meet up at a track - and why not the mother of them all - Nürburgring.

I am thinking late summer, August perhaps, to meet up and have fun during the tourist days?

Anyone up for it?

It would also be a good opportunity for anyone of the US-listers to come visit.

you gotto check the calender to have a weekend where the track is open a lot.

according to my plan I will be down there 11th and 12th of august to attend oldtimer GP and do so some instruction some customers but should have enough time to meet & greet

I already missed our Porsche Clubs last summer trip to Nordschleife so I'd join I guess. But it will be either with my 931 or 924 2.5 16v Turbo (if those are allowed )

I'm living in Germany about an hour away from the Ring. I'll definately try and get there. My car should be going in for a 3.2 during April. I hope it doesn`t over run. I do hope to have it back by June and get it run-in during June and July. Only time will tell.

sweanders: Count me in. Obviously the sooner you have info the better. I'm not to far from there either so if there is anything I can do here, let me know.

To access what we are looking for, go to the website and put your mouse over the word "nürburgring" to activate the drop down. Choose "Drive in your own car". Once the page is up, scroll down to about the middle of the page and look for "Opening hours Nordschleife 2007". Under this list there is a drop down box that will let you choose the month (z.b. August).

* Most days are from 17:15 until 19:30. Sundays towards the end of the month are from 8:00 until 19:30. I seems that a Sunday might be the better option although Saturday the 11th, it's open from 11:15 until 19:30.
